THE SHEARLING JACKET IS A WINNER

I’M WEARING  >>  Jacket: Mango  |  Boots: Massimo Dutti  |  Sweater: Uniqlo  |  Jeans: Samsoe Samsoe  |  Bag: Moschino  |  Necklace: Roberta Vallina

I have quite a wide variety of shearling jackets that I have collected throughout the years, but this is definitely one of my favourites. Sadly it is not available anymore since I bought it last year and sadly, I haven’t worn it as much as I would like to, but I will try this winter. The mix between shearling and leather makes it so easy to wear as its a lot warmer than it looks.

In other news, I was pleasantly surprised to read your feedback on my last post, not only here but trough  my DM’s on instagram. I guess I haven’t realised how many of us are going through the same issue when it comes to battling anxiety. The reaction to that post triggered something in me and made me want to talk about this more. Perhaps if we do, it can help us both. I feel like this is an issue that sometimes can be hard to talk about, but when you share experiences and stories, it could really benefit in the healing process, or finding a way to deal with anxiety better.

If you have any topics you would like me to address, please feel free to share, I want StyleScrapbook to become a space where we can all find a place to learn and ultimately, make our lives better <3

  1. It looks so cosy! Lucky in that rain! Anxiety seems like something I talk about with friends all the time these days too. It’s awful. I’ve been finding this year that taking time to read before bed has helped me unwind and stop my mind from going while I try to get to sleep. Over the last couple of years, I’d been struggling to switch off and would find myself panicking thinking about all the things I needed to do the next day or should have done that day. Then I’d find out friends were feeling the same. Too much pressure we put on ourselves! Hope you are feeling better.

    1. You are absolutely right. We put too much pressure on ourselves and its so hard to stop your mind from going when you start spiriling out of control with thoughts.
I am trying to use my phone less to start with but it doesn’t always work out. I also try to exercise as often as I can, since its one of the things that help me the most.

  2. Fabulous thinking – society (male & female!) needs to learn to understand and address these Mental Health issues that get hidden. Hope followers will release their inhibitions and share their problems within this platform. It could be valuable to so many out there!

    1. That is exactly what I am trying to achieve. I feel like mental fitness is sometimes a “taboo” topic and its so important to share stories so we all realise that its actually pretty common and it helps to talk about it and share stories.
