Just came back from an overnight trip to Paris, to attend the Massimo Dutti #MarfaToParis show. Its so cool to think I have been doing this job for over 10 years and even though I have gotten to experience so many incredible trips and events, every single one of them has something unique and special about them.
The show was at one of my favourite show venues in Paris, which is the Palais de Tokyo and the reason why it is one of my favourites, its because it reminds me of my very first Paris fashion Week, back in 2010 (seems like light years ago!). Not to mention that it has the Eiffel Tower almost directly in front of it and its just a pretty grand building all together. The show was amazing as expected, the venue floor was covered in sand to simulate the atmosphere in Marfa, Texas (the inspiration for this collection) and the clothes were wearable and super chic.
I got to catch up with some old friends and part of the original blogger crew, Jules and Sara and share stories, laugh our asses off and eat amazing food.
My look suit and coat are Massimo Dutti and even though I was a bit skeptical on the oversized, wide leg trouser, I anded up loving the androgynous look, so I decided to pair it with one of my favourite “boy” shoes (and which I have only worn twice!).
