THE COLOUR OF THE SEASON

I never thought I would say this, but lately I have become infatuated with the colour pink, especially the shade of this bag from JW Anderson. There are touches of it literally everywhere in my apartment, from my pillows, to my artwork, to my velvet living room chairs and so on, but I came to the realisation that I still didn’t own any clothing in this shade.

The moment Fall started showing signs of life, I immediately started to look for something in this shade of pink. However, I decided that the best idea would be to look at accessories and get a bag in this colour instead. This way I would get to wear it over an over again without looking like I was repeating anything from my closet. I had been eyeing this particular JW Anderson piercing bag on FarFetch for quite some time and almost got it in black a year ago, but I am so glad I waited for this one!

I really wanted a bag that had colour -since I always go for black-, but also added a little extra, bringing some edge to a casual outfit which is what I normally tend to go for. The metal piercing detail of the JW Anderson bag achieves that perfectly!

I styled the bag with a black and white polka dot dress from H&M, which I layered with one of my favourite black hoodies from Samsoe and Samsoe during New York Fashion Week. I often tend to go for monochrome looks, so I think that going for a bag in this shade of pink instead of black was a very smart move and I will definitely be wearing it on repeat for months to come. You know I will! ;)
