12 YEARS LATER

I have been lucky enough to travel to so many incredible places and its always very hard to narrow down favourites. I first went to Rome back in 2005 -which seems like a lifetime ago- strangely enough, I never went back until a few weeks ago, 12 years later. I don’t know how to explain it, but Rome and I have this special thing going on, I am so head over heels in love with the city and I cant really point out the reason why. I guess it has a lot to do with the fact that I love History (it was my favourite subject at school) and very few cities in this globe have as much history as Rome. I guess it also has to do with the fact that the whole place exudes romanticism, in a different way Paris does, its just so Romantic, so beautiful and so captivating. I promised myself to go back more often, definitely not waiting another 12 years to walk its beautiful streets again.

  5. I visited Rome again, after several years, this February and I also promissed myself to come back waaay more often. It’s now among my favorite cities 😍

    I’ve been to Rome and I couldn’t agree more! I totally get this, Rome is definitely beautiful and there’s so much to love about it. I’d give almost anything to go back <3
