I’M WEARING >> Shoes: Sigerson Morrison | Jeans: Levis | Blouse: Vintage | Bag: Gucci
I was lucky enough to travel to Rome recently and stay for a few days. Rome is one of the most incredible cities in the world and one of my top 3 favourites, certainly one of the most exciting to shoot in being surrounded by so much history and beautiful architecture. It’s literally like being in an outdoor museum!
I was really excited to partner with Sigerson Morrison for a shoot while I was there, focusing on a pair from their Spring collection. For anyone not familiar with Sigerson Morrison, they’re a very cosmopolitan and contemporary brand from New York that I have been wearing for a while. I have a few pairs from their previous collections and most of them are amongst my favourite shoes.
I chose to wear the Posie lace-up mule in navy suede which I think works really well with my style. I really love the lace up detail because it makes it a little more feminine and also fits in perfectly with a sophisticated location like the Spanish Steps. I didn’t own any blue shoes either so going for that shade of blue was a no-brainer; it seems to match with most things I own and the silhouette of the shoe in itself is a statement, so I am really looking forward to playing with it in different looks!
