TIME FOR CELEBRATION

Growing up in Mexico, the Christmas and New Year’s Eve period has always been an extremely special time for me. I come from a very big family and all my memories growing up involve a full house at my grandparents place, too much food, Christmas carols, a lot of laughter and a certain feeling in the air.
Although I live in Amsterdam now, I always try to get back to Mexico this time of year, but before I do, it’s also important for me to take some time in Amsterdam to celebrate the festive season with some friends before heading home.

2016 has not been a great year for me and some of my close friends. It has had high and very sad lows, but I try to tell myself that celebrating at this time of year isn’t only about the best of times. It’s also about looking forward and hoping for the best in 2017, where we get another shot to new possibilities, memories and adventures.

I’ve partnered with @moetchandon again to share my #moetmoment and I decided this time I’d share a special moment in my apartment, before and after a few friends joined for one last time in 2016. It was cozy and intimate, with a lot of good vibes and hopes for the year to come and trying to put closure to this interesting but difficult year.

I really wish you all an amazing Christmas and New Year! You’ve been a massive part of my life for 9 years now, and I can’t wait to share some exciting announcements for year 10! Please stay tuned!!!
