KENZO X H&M PART 2

Oh La la, this collection is definitely not for the faint-hearted, some love it, some hate it, I say it’s all about who you style it. I had the pleasure to fly to NYC for the Kenzo for H&M show last week and I realised that I have spent more time in New York than anywhere else (apart from home) in the past year, which is definitely amazing.

I have seen and tried on the entire collection and there are some pieces that might be definitely out of my comfort zone, but then again, there are some pieces that challenge my styling skills and that worn the right way, can definitely make a statement. I am going to be honest, the black and orange tiger sweatshirts are my favourite pieces because they are so wearable and fun, but there are some items that if worn separately, can look amazing; like this skirt which is reversible and can easily be worn with your favourite pair of kicks, a white tee and a denim jacket.
Seriously guys, I am used to being stared at for wearing quirky things since I was a child growing up in Mexico, it used to bother me before but it empowers me now, because for me fashion is a way of self expression and if the people don’t like what you are wearing, well that is their problem, not yours.
This collection is definitely for those who want to make a statement, so if you dare, what items are you going for on November 3rd?

  5. I’m pretty sure it’s so out of anybody’s comfort zone, but it’s an actual fact that if you chose de right pieces u can actually look beyond this world. U looking gorgeous btw and I think that the green overall it’s a must that I’m definitely getting.

  9. Hi what size are you wearing not the sweatshirt? is a snug or loose fit? Not sure if i should go for small or medium. Looks great on you :)

    Although I have to admit that you are one of the very few people who could pull off this outfit!
    If I wore the exact same thing, I promise it wouldn’t have the same effect XD
    I definitely agree with you though… that it’s all about how you style it and tone it down by mixing it with other pieces.
