Photos at the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort

Traveling the world was a dream I had since I was a little girl and Vietnam had been on top of my list for a very long time. A couple of weeks ago just a day after my birthday, I finally checked that off my bucket list when I was invited to experience one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to; The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort.
When I say that this place was absolute heaven I really do mean it, but it was only when we made our way to the room and I realised I would probably have to pinch myself to see if I wasn’t actually dreaming. With an unbeatable view and the decor on point, literally thought of until the very last detail, it made one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed at.

Walking around the grounds of the hotel was another experience, going down on the cable car to the 4 different levels the Resort had to offer; Heaven, Sky, Earth, Sea, all with their different quirky and special features. I love how private and secluded it feels, but there are still plenty of things to do within the grounds of the resort, with several restaurants -my favourite being Citron and Barefoot-, an incredible “The L_o_n_g Bar” beach bar where we chilled almost every afternoon, to having a swim at the pool upstairs and then heading to the beach for a sunset walk.

I sometimes tend to be a creature of habit and starting my day with a workout at the gym and heading to Citron for a breakfast buffet was my idea of the perfect way to start my day, followed by a couple of relaxing hours at their SPA and heading directly to the private beach to read and try take all the experience in.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I took plenty to try and share a glimpse of how this week went, although its hard to really put it into words. Very rarely I have been this sad to leave a place and my days at the InterContinental Danang Resort are memories that will never be forgotten.

Hope you love the diary I put together and if Vietnam wasn’t on your list of places to visit, I suggest you put it right up there! Take a look at www.intercontinental.com and experience your own #InterContinentalLife

  1. Looks amazing. This is my #1 bucket list resort. I plan on going there before the end of the year. Did you do much exploring outside the resort? Or did you visit any other cities in Vietnam? How was it?

  2. The photos are so beautiful! The Intercontinental looks amazing and I’d definitely stay there if I do get the opportunity to visit Vietnam! x
