Long lost photographs from Los Angeles. I am getting my shit together guys, I promise! I am trying to catch up and ever since I landed back home from NY, I have been literally working non stop getting content ready to post. I have been posting every single day for the past 5 years, I’ve been blogging for almost 8 years now and its only the past couple of months where it started to get too hard to keep doing all the content myself, yet I am still trying.

Remember when I shared with you some problem I was having with my hands/arms last May?(you can read the story here). The doctor asked me to take a few months break, no phone, no computer typing and I panicked at the thought 0f that. I can’t take a few months break but I have been trying to keep some sort of balance, which seems to be working out. The pain in my arms is gone, but I need to make sure I keep it that way and not let myself overdo it again. Is somebody else having problems with pain in their hands/arms due to excess iPhone/computer usage or RSI? I would love to hear your experiences…

  1. Love the shots, the skirt is beautiful ! I began blogging in January, and honestly I can’t even imagine taking a few days break. I really want to commit and post around 5 articles a week, so I have to work everyday for them to be ready. I don’t feel pain in my arms, but my eyes get sore quickly.

  2. I totally get what you’re going through! I used to sculpt miniatures and I really over did it with my hands to the point where I had to stop and close my art business :(
But hey, now I work in fashion and blog about it so you take the good with the bad :)
Keep up the amazing work! I always love reading your posts no matter if they come every day or every week <3

  3. Stunning photos! And that skirt is so perfect for Beverly Hills and that slight 50s housewife look!
Oh, and don’t beat yourself up for not posting or getting content up on the right time! I (and I’m sure that almost all of your readers) don’t mind if you don’t post every day or even every other day. Your blog is great with one post a week too!

  4. Que look tan genial, muy inspirador. Animo!

  5. I’m Glad you’re Back , but i am also glad because your pretty busy with your job , it means you’re doing a great job <3

  6. Beautiful look and those palm trees are the perfect backdrop :-) . I’m in love with your sunglasses!
Do take it easy, Andy. While we all love your inspiring posts, your health is obviously more important. And from what I’ve heard it’s a long process to completely recover from RSI. So take care!

  7. Hi Andy! My job consists of sitting behind a desk for 40 hours a week and yes, I noticed lately that my lower arms started to hurt a bit as well. Especially my elbows, where everything (tendons, muscles, bones) connect, and my fingers (stiff and sore from clicking and scrolling). I use this program called CtrlWork and I set it to the highest level, which means it tells me to take 10 sec. breaks every now and then and at least one 4 minute break every hour. When I am very busy and typing and clicking a lot, I get more breaks. I have been trying this for a couple of weeks now and it seems that my arms hurt less. You could try to install such a program and try to really stick to it (there are even programs that won’t allow you to ignore the breaks because your computer won’t work during the breaks). Good luck, and I hope these tips help!

    1. That is a very good idea dear, I am really trying to so something about it as my arms started hurting a bit 2 days ago again. I am also trying to do trigger point massage as I heard this is basically “tennis elbow”, have you heard of that?.
      Xx

      1. Yes, my mom had that. She had ultrasound shock wave therapy (or something like that, with sound waves anyway); hurt quite a bit but seemed to have helped. I noticed that taking breaks is the key, I also feel the difference for example if I go weight lifting in the evening after a day at the office, or in the morning after a night’s rest. If you find a way to get rid of the issue, let me know! :)

  8. Aww Andy, it’s ok to have a break when you really need one. My fingers sometimes get shaky if I stay on the computer for too long. It feels uncomfortable, but nowhere close to painful or such. Do what you need to do to keep your health in place. That’s the most important! x

  9. I was having that for a little while because I’m a writer so I type a lot. It was killing my right hand and that’s also the hand I write with. I didn’t stop using it completely but I would use my phone less and rest my arm on my desk whenever I wasn’t typing. It went away soon enough.
