Spending time in New York days before my birthday was the perfect build up to the perfect birthday. I wanted to spend a few days in the city before heading to The Hampton’s and I ended up staying in Midtown again, not only because I love it, but because it makes me feel like I am in the middle of the action.

This time I stayed at The Park Central Hotel which is the sister hotel to the WestHouse, where I stayed on my previous trip (do you guys remember?). I loved staying there because it felt like I was coming to my home away from home in NYC, I am getting so acquainted with the neighbourhood and they always make me feel at home there, specially when I found a huge birthday flower bouquet waiting in my room!.
The rooms are actually quite big for New York size which I adore, being unable to ever pack light I need all the space I can get, plus I really love the artwork and chic feeling around the hotel. My favourite spot was definitely the Central Market at the lobby, which was a small cafe with the most amazing coffee and pastries for my morning cravings.

I cannot wait to get back there!

I've never stayed at Park Central but my fave hotel in NYC is Park Lane hotel… – Plaza's neighbor overlooking Central Park – yes, please, any day :)

  2. I love New York so much. Everytime I go back, I feel like it’s a second home and I know what you mean. Midtown is like the center of the whirlwind action that’s taken place at any moment of the day. One of my favorite place to go was Soho. There is so much to do there! x
