I have basically been living in this blue classic shirt from Ganni and the truth is, I have been looking for the perfect light blue college shirt for a very long time. They were always too short, too wide, too blue and the list goes on, but this one is just perfect.
I love styling college shirts in different ways just because its such a versatile piece and a definite must in any girls wardrobe. The challenge for me is to make them a little less formal, a bit more rock’ n roll if I may. I have to admit that I regretted immensely bringing my leather jacket out into the city on that particular day as I nearly from from heat exhaustion, but in my defence it was quite chilly when I left my hotel and, well, my jacket was part of the look :P

  1. That jacket is such a good one! Where is it from? And you’re right, a baby blue college shirt is an essential in one’s wardrobe, so good call for this one. So many of them out there are too much, or too blue, and that ain’t right! x

  2. I recently found a perfect baby-blue-and-white striped shirt from a thrift store for like 1,5€ and it’s so perfect. I even styled it in a similar way! The trick that makes it more casual for me is unbottoning a few (too many!) buttons – perfect for a hot day in the city!

  3. Loving that leather jacket! You should check out this NYC brand called The Arrivals. They have my fave leather jacket currently (but a little too heavy for summer) and at a decently affordable price point (around $650). I find leather jackets such a classic (and sorry, but also NYC!) look. So great to throw on top of almost anything!

  4. I never really thought a great shirt would fit into my closet in terms of my style and lifestyle, but now I can’t go without it. I wear a button up shirt at least two times a week now! Love your outfit here xx

  5. In this amazing outfit you give to the classic shirt a new life, more cool and rock. Adore the 70s inspiration of the beautiful suede skirt and the contrast with the elegance style of the shirt, both look perfect with these Balenciaga boots with their rebel soul. The leather jacket is an unique piece, it’s really great and the bag is pure love. Wonderful photos in New York
