As I was doing -yet another- closet cleanup, I found this vintage military jacket I’ve own for years and years, in fact when I saw it I even wondered where it came from; -“Do I actually own this amazing jacket? :O”-.
Turns out I did, it didn’t just mysteriously appear amongst my basement boxes, but it was waiting for the right moment to get re-discovered. While I was in NY, I went to the Fashion district to try find nicer buttons and perhaps a patch to finish it off. My trip turned out to be incredibly successful, finding the coolest heart patch you now see on the “left side” and much better buttons. Its crazy how much a garment can improve just by adding a little here and there and customising it your way, right?

  1. Hello Andy, I really love this jacket and how you’ve customized it! It’s great to add personal touch to a piece, and I agree that sometimes it changes the whole impression :)

You’ve made a great decision to style this jacket with a miniskirt and a v-neck tee – it looks very modern and also sexy (but classy!).

    Have a great weekend
