One of the pitstops of the road trip was crossing the Hoover Dam on my way to Las Vegas and what a sight it was! I remember my Mom and Grandfather telling me stories about this place when they did this exact road trip over 30 years ago.
The Hoover Dam is exactly on the boarder between Arizona and Nevada on The Black Canyon and being able to see the Colorado river so close after being on The Grand Canyon a day before, just being able to see a tiny river on the bottom was such an incredible experience.
