LAS VEGAS, what a wonderful place!!! One of the most unexpected things about this road trip was definitely Las Vegas and I say unexpected because I was expecting not to like it, yet I loved it!!!. I have heard a lot of stories from Las Vegas before and a lot of my friends don’t like it, but I just found it so exciting, even though I don’t gamble. I loved walking around the casinos and looking at the decorations, the stores and eating the food, THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD!
Las Vegas is like a Disneyland for Adults, thats the best way I can describe it.

Every day, we would walk about 15 kilometres just looking around the hotels, casinos and shops. Every single hotel is a whole new experience, I was blown away by the size of these places, all themed with different cities like Rome, Venice, Paris and New York.
One of my highlights was the Fountains at the Bellagio Hotel and I tried capturing it for those of you who haven’t been there. It was my dream to see them live and the first time I experienced it, was while the song “Time to say goodbye” By Andrea Bocelli was playing, which made it so incredibly emotional for me since it was my grandmothers favourite song and the one they played at her funeral when she passed a few years ago…

  1. Las Vegas is beautiful especially at night when the city comes to life with the glitz and blitz =D
Looks like you had a great time there. Did you manage to catch a cirque? I find it amazing =)

  2. Glad you enjoyed it. I have to say, after moving to Vegas I thought the Strip would get old, but after months of being on the strip every day I’m still not 100% tired of it, lol. I’m sure, like most locals, I’ll get sick of it eventually, but for now I still enjoy it & appreciate seeing others enjoy it as well :)

  5. your photos are truly amazing. I’ve been to Vegas a few times and the first time (1988) I felt the same way but now it’s the constant noise of the machines that grates on my nerves, glad you loved it so much!
