PARTY DRESSING GUIDE

So happy to finally be able to share with you the shoot I did for Jimmy Choo and Who What Wear in Marrakech. We had to style some of out favourite looks for the holiday season and I chose to go really girly and really masculine, just because I have found that contrasts are a thing I love playing with. For some bizarre reason, all I want to wear are suits lately, I find it so incredibly sexy and that is a side I am trying to explore. No more comfort zones…

For me, dressing for the holiday season is something I leave to the very last minute, unless I am flying home to Mexico and I have to pack way in advance. I love looking sort of dressed up during Christmas and New Years eve but I don’t like looking “overdressed” if you know what I mean. I recently gave an interview to Who What Wear on my tips for styling yourself on the holiday season and I of course went for a suit. I don’t know if you remember this Navy blue velvet suit I own and even though velvet is a very, very tricky fabric to wear without looking slightly tacky, I think this suit is the perfect balance between edgy and chic.

    I’ll be wearing a little black dress, adding a little silver shimmer in accessories… keeping it classic.
    And rocking a little something, too (even though you won’t see it! ;)
    I use this daily and have for 7 years…so I always know where my little goodies are. Always.
    (like my ID, $, cards, cell, tampon, etc).
    it’s a little fashion fix that helps us gals dress SMART and stylishly at the same time.

  92. I’m very classic when we talk about party dressing but this year I want to change and wear a suit for a Christmas party. The suit is so elegant and fabulous, very original and with the perfect touch between male and female. Love the firt look, it’s super chic
