I -very often- get asked what I do to stay in shape and as some of you might have noticed on instagram, I do love exercising. I have been doing sports ever since I was around 12 years old and spent 7 years of my life training track and field, almost to a professional level (in high jump that is).
Working out is such a big part of my life and I don’t picture myself not doing sports, I do enjoy exercise a whole lot.
Some of you have asked me what do I do to stay in shape, well, I try to exercise at least 4 times a week (Gym and Cardio). Unfortunately during busy periods when I travel a lot, going to the gym is not really a possibility, so in that case, I stick to whats available anytime, anywhere, which is running.

I normally try to hit the gym around 3 to 4 times a week and do weight training, but when it comes to running, the more the better!.

Its tough to get into it in the beginning, so I would recommend you to find a running buddy, that way you push each other to actually get your tushy out the door and do it.
Once you get into it, you will be amazed at how quickly you will build condition and how much farther you will start running.

I try so stick to 5-7K per run, but thats just because I prefer to do “short” distances more times a week, but you can start with 2k and build it from there.

Happy Running!!!

  1. Good abitude! After I broke my knee (one year and a half ago) I left my sport, where I was professional, and I start having a 'relaxed life'. For the first period it was quite good, it was something new but now it's really bad, I take 6 kilos and I don't feel well with my body. I go to the gym 3 days a week but it doesn't work at all :(

  2. I love running! It's one of my fav sports :) I run 8-9km 3 times a week and I always feel amazing after workout.Kisses!

  3. i wonder how you do it when you have to travel..what sports clothes you pack and how do you deal with sweaty clothes…i would be very handy if you answer, i've just started jogging as a training form for myself but i doubt when i travel to take my clothes with me :/

  6. Wow – you're like my sports soul body!I actually have the same routine – I run a lot and try to work out at least 3-4 times a week. Also I mostly opt for short distance runs from 5-7 km (and sometimes 8-10) because I just don't have the time!If I had more time on my hands I could run for hours… once you started it really clears your head, I love that :)Keep up the work, sporty spice ;o)XX from Germany IN BED WITH FASHION

  30. Oh good gracious. I started running in November, when I was more than 100lbs overweight and I can tell you now – it's been a real struggle!I just completed my first 5k last month though and i'm on my way to doing a 10k now. Starting really is the hardest part, but once you get going with anything it's much easier. I love running now! I really fancy investing in some gorgeous running kit like yours though.Amberwww.amberrosethomas.com

  31. OMG!! You work very hard, Andy! You look gorgeous even you work out! I have to start my running! Could you share the song you work our? :)

  32. I was so happy to read your post !! Since January this year, I've actually decided to change my lifestyle completely by sticking to a daily routine. This involves not only a daily morning Yoga session + running 3-4 days a week for 30 min, but also a balanced diet. I am planning to start a lifestyle section on my blog with nutrition and sports information as I am truly devoted to having a healthy lifestyle. I hope you will pass by my blog when that happens. You are doing a great thing by promoting fashion alongside sports, because in the end, the more active we are, the happier and more creative we become, which eventually leads to more and more amazing posts on the blog haha, so I guess, I discovered your secret ! best wishesSara Constancehttp://www.saraconstance.com
