DIY: MICHAEL KORS SS11 GOLD PANTS

Making these pants was on the top of my “To-Do” list ever since I saw them strolling down the Michael Kors SS 11 catwalk.
I didn’t have pants patterns so I made them myself with an old pair of flare pants and it was a bit difficult documenting the “step by step”, specially when sewing all the pieces together, so I hope the tutorial is clear enough for the ones who want to follow it… I will post “Look of the day” pics with my new gold pants very soon so you can see the end result!

  12. it's a great idea and i have a feeling it's gonna turn out awesome, but i was just thinking why you will need to use the tracing paper when you can just use the old pair of pants as the cut-out by placing it on top of the fabric?just a thought, may be not as easy as it seems.
