BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER

You guys know that I travel quite a lot for work and you get to see most of the ‘Looks Of The Day’ I shoot during my travels, yet I rarely show whats behind a lot of these trips or get into depth about what I sometimes do. As a part of my collaboration with Canon’s “Come and See” campaign, I wanted to share a piece of a very unusual and exciting part of one of my recents trips to Los Angeles with Coach, which was to get to see the inside of Gary Baseman Studio. A lot of you might already know Gary, but for those who don’t; He is an incredible contemporary graphic artist who’s work has really captivated me. He has illustrated cartoons for Disney as well and board games and has his own exhibitions in many parts of the world. The thing is though, the moment you have a conversation with him, you start to understand the reasoning behind his illustrations, which may sometimes appear to be a tad eccentric and a bit controversial.

Getting to see Gary’s Studio where a lot of his work is, “were the magic happens” was such an incredible experience, it was like getting inside the mind of an artist with his art all around you, in paintings, sculptures, masks, everywhere, it was like I was completely submerged in Gary’s world for a while.
