I’M WEARING  >>  Dress: MSGM  |  Boots: Saint Laurent  |  Bag: Versace via Farfetch

I am always amazed by how quickly the Holiday Season catches up on us. It’s the middle of the summer and before we know it, the leaves start falling, the days get colder and I immediately start planning where I will be going for Christmas and New Year, but most importantly; What am I going to wear?

The holiday season is a perfect excuse to dress up, there is no shortage of parties and come on, who doesn’t want to end/start a year in style? I always go for something a little louder in terms of styling in comparison to what I wear most of the year and this year, that means GLITTER! I have been eyeing these Saint Laurent boots for the longest time and it’s not that I was not sure of them before, but I just didn’t have “the perfect” excuse to get them. The more I thought about it, the more sense it seemed to make. Not only are these the perfect statement shoe, but they also challenge me creatively in terms of how many different ways can I style them in the “post holiday season”. I picture these with everything from a vintage pair of jeans and one of my favorite band t-shirts, to a fluffy and oversized black knit dress -not sure how the boys feel about these but that is totally irrelevant information am I right?

As I was browsing Farfetch for my perfect holiday look, I not only found what has now become my favorite pair of boots, but also one of the coolest Little Black Dresses from MSGM that I have seen. For me it was important to create a look that didn’t take the focus off the boots, although the ruffles on the dress are a statement by itself, they still complement the look without taking the focus where it belongs. The Versace bag was the perfect final touch as it is a piece that stands out and still feels really quirky with the unusual camo print…Holiday season, I am ready for you!
