Here are few photos we shot at “La candelaria” which is the “old Bogota” and one of the most picturesque neighborhoods I saw in Bogota, simply beautiful! … Guess what? I am on a flight on my way to carry on filming the TV series in my beloved Mexico!!! Nothing makes me happier than being able to go back to my country and for such a huge project like the one I am working on.

¡Nos vemos en Mexico!

Ever since I arrived in Colombia I have been desperately seeking for one of their typical Wayuu bags or as the Colombians call them “Mochilas Wayuu”. They are all handmade and rumor has it, they are all different, so there is no bag alike, which makes them even more special. I was actually hoping to find one in neon colors but my search was a total fail so I decided to go for this black one with touches of color, which at the end of the day will be more easy to wear.

I had the pleasure of meeting Colombian designer Jorge Duque at his studio the other day -some of you might know because he was the winner of the first Latin American Project Runway-. I have to say that its refreshing to meet people as down to earth, smart and talented as him, we got along the moment we met and he blew me away with his work. I had the most amazing time shooting scenes for the TV series with him and trying some of garments from his collections, the only down side was that at the end, I wanted to take everything home, lucky for me, he surprised me by giving me one of the amazing visors he designed, straight from his show, I felt so lucky!
