From yellow shirt to yellow mini skirt

Few days ago I realized I had a yellow shirt I got at River Island few seasons ago sitting on my closet.
I wasnt wearing it anymore and since I have a thing for modifying clothes when I think I wont wear them as they are , I decided to give it a little makeover.
It took me about an hour, the only thing I hate about sewing my clothes is when I have to bring my sewing machine plus all the other stuff I need downstairs, must times I have to go up and down like 5 times before I have everything I need on the table, appart from that, I LOVE IT!!!!
My sewing machine is the best thing that has ever happened to me (ok, maybe I am exagerating a bit) but its there, on my top 10 defenetely :P

I recently visited to San Francisco for the 1st time. I heard amazing comments about the city before but when I got there, it was just so much better than what I had imagined!
I must admit that I got fooled by the whole cliche about how Cali is so hot, because SF is not so much, so even tho it looks like the perfect sunny day, I was bloody freezing and it was so windy, I kept flashing my panties to everyone around me!!
Anyway, I had a great time so the whole weather disaster wasn´t really relevant.

Just for the record, if you ever go to San Francisco, always bring a jacket (in case!), and wear some flowers in your hair…or not lol…cheesy!!!

So there I was, having my morning latte, doing my daily fashion research on my beloved notebook when I first saw it, and yes, it was LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT…..

What am I talking about????
BALMAIN´S new spring ready-to-wear collection by Christophe Decarnin!!!!

He opened PARIS FASHION WEEK, and while Madonna´s vintage music was playing on the background, a feast for the eyes collection started walking down the runway.

From Michael Jackson inspired jackets, beautiful silver and crystal sequins, edgy stone-washed demin & bandage-wrap retro-looking mini dresses, the collection turned out to be EYE CANDY!
By the time I got to the last outfit, I suddenly realize this might be one of my favorite overall collections I´ve ever lay my eyes on.

Here are some pictures I picked, to be honest it was so hard choosing them, I could have lay out the complete collection, but 39 images were far too many for such little space and while I am ready to wrap up today´s entry, I realize that I just added a designer to my Top 5 favs and as crazy as I am about this collection, I cant help but wonder what is he planning for us next season..
